My Neighbour's Cat

Witness the birth of a story through the book- My Neighbour's Cat

My Neighbour's Cat is a story written to captivate the interest of toddlers. The story outlines common feline behaviors that will enable children to understand how cats conduct themselves.

The story begins by describing the physical attributes of a cat named 'Kuro'. She is a playful cat who enjoys meeting/greeting new people.

Kuro spends her entire day playing at home with her set of toys, taking naps in between and engaging herself with her favourite games.

Kuro is an affectionate cat who enjoys being in the company of people. There are certain tactics and tricks that can be used with Kuro, to make her your friend.

This story is written by Aksheeta Selarka Parikh an early years educator. It is a non-fiction text, that has been derived from the author's real life-experiences.
During her daughter's playdates with the cat, Aksheeta made interesting observations about Kuro that  are laid down in form of a story in the book.
Aksheeta has always been fond of writing and it is her 3.5 year old daughter who inspired her to  become an author.

Being in the education field for about 2 decades now, Aksheeta has an edge as an author, as she understands the young minds and their perception of the world.

My Neighbour's Cat is a must read for toddlers that not only aims at enriching their vocabulary but also gives children an opportunity to engage in age appropriate literature.
